The Early Childhood Education and the MACC Preschool program are hands-on teaching experiences for juniors and seniors. Students are required to obtain a criminal history check, physical and TB test. The students then become CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. After they have received all certifications required, students then begin the process of learning how to create lesson plans and conduct preschool. Preschool starts in September and runs Tuesday through Thursday for $10 per week until April. The entire program is taught and supervised by Vicki Irvin who has been an instructor of this program for 26 years and counting.
